YOUR FINANCE OPTIONS
HIRE PURCHASE (HP)
A straightforward route to vehicle ownership.
Hire Purchase allows you to spread the cost of a vehicle over an agreed period. Following any deposit, you make regular monthly repayments.
Once all required payments and any applicable option-to-purchase fee have been made, ownership transfers to you.

PERSONAL CONTRACT PURCHASE (PCP)
Monthly repayments with flexible end-of-agreement choices.
PCP works by deferring part of the vehicle's cost until the end of the agreement. This can result in lower monthly repayments than comparable HP finance, depending on the terms.
At the end of the agreement, you can usually pay the optional final payment to own the vehicle, return it subject to the agreement's conditions, or part exchange it subject to its value and outstanding finance.

03. Submit Your Application
Your application is assessed against lender criteria, including affordability and creditworthiness. Credit searches may be required.
04. Review Your Offer
If finance is offered, review the APR, monthly payments, total amount payable and agreement terms before proceeding.
05. Collect Your Vehicle
Once the agreement is completed and funds are received, we can arrange your vehicle handover.
FINANCE JARGON EXPLAINED
APR
The Annual Percentage Rate represents the annual cost of borrowing, including interest and certain compulsory charges, helping you compare finance offers.
Deposit
The amount you contribute towards the vehicle purchase upfront.
Balloon Payment
A larger payment deferred until the end of certain finance agreements. Under PCP, this is generally optional if you wish to own the vehicle.
GMFV
Guaranteed Minimum Future Value, used to determine the optional final payment on a PCP agreement.
Soft Credit Search
An eligibility check that does not affect your credit score. A subsequent full application may involve a hard credit search.
Negative Equity
When the outstanding finance balance exceeds the current market value of your vehicle.

Can I apply with a poor credit history?
Jigsaw Finance works with lenders that consider different credit profiles. Approval is not guaranteed and depends on your circumstances.
Do I need a deposit?
Zero-deposit options may be available, subject to lender criteria and affordability.
Can I part exchange my current vehicle?
Yes. A part exchange can potentially contribute towards your deposit. Any outstanding finance must be accounted for.
Can I settle my finance early?
Regulated agreements generally permit early settlement. Your lender can provide a settlement quotation and applicable terms.
Can I finance a performance car?
Finance may be available on specialist and performance vehicles, subject to vehicle eligibility and lender approval.
